Rick De Stefano Rick is a musician (singer, keyboardist) and songwriter based in Taos, New Mexico. He frequently performs in northern New Mexico. You can hear Rick playing solo at the Western Sky Cafe, or in duos with vocalist Cindy Valerio, or bass guitarist David Bynoe.
Rick is also a leader of the popular 5-piece blues / R&B combo, Afterburner Blues Band, and frequently performs at the
Alley Cantina and the Old Blinking Light.

Rick is also a member of Daniel Thurmer's rock band, Hot House, and appears on their recently-released CD, Hot House.

Both "Afterburner" and "Hot House" are in hiatus during September and October 2002. Rick is concentrating on rehearsing with his CD musicians (the Hard Times Band) for live performances to promote the CD.
Singer Kelly Stebbins will be getting restive soon and will fire up "Afterburner" again or start a new band.  -  Watch this site.

Rick's own first CD, "Another Hard Year In Taos", will be released in November 2002, featuring all original songs. Rick's original music is influenced by Chicago blues, British invasion, New Orleans, California country-rock, traditional jazz, and classical. Rick has also composed original main theme and program music for professional video products from IPC Video, including IPC's logo music. Rick lives in Taos with his wife, Susan Benedetti.
